We explore Lincoln’s legacy with regard to race with Dr. Ibram X. We talk with National Park Service Ranger Rose Harmon who works at the Lincoln Home! She shares some great stories about the famous house on 8th and Jackson in Springfield and some of her experiences as a ranger there. Ranger Rose’s passion for her work, knowledge and appreciation for Lincoln, and fun and engaging demeanor made this interview an absolute treat!

We visited the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and chatted with Dr. James Cornelius, the curator of the Lincoln collection.  Dr. Cornelius’s knowledge of Lincoln and his ability to humanize him in conversation is truly breathtaking.  This conversation left us thinking about the collection and Lincoln for days.  What a treat is was to meet and talk with one of the sharpest Lincoln minds in the world!
